My love of computers is no secret. I mean, I wouldn't deligate the past several months
to learning programming languages if that wasn't the case. I'll most likely make a blog
and maybe a video I'll post somewhere regarding that learning journey. Nevertheless, this
is not about C nor is it about Rust. It's not about my hate for modern software, AI, 
JavaScript, etc, etc. It's about the culture of tech enthusiasts instead.

Now, first I would like to mention what made me write this blog in the first place

Very weird reasoning if you don't even look up the links but I'll try to explain it in a way where you
don't have to exit the text editor you are viewing this in.

The video is about making your own writer deck, not a tuttorial, just a video about a person's 
experience repurposing an older laptop into a tty-only machine for writting documents and scripts

The Firefox theme (don't worry, I still use Librewolf) is just an Evangelion theme (don't judge)

What these things reminded me of is how computers used to be fun. Take this as someone who used Windows 7
since they were 4 years old and only stopped using it in late 2024. A decade of my life. Computers were
a gateway to a second home. Change the wallpaper, change the theme, sounds, anything. Want to play any
game, watch any movie, read any book?

Yes, most of these sites I didn't discover until later but my point still stands. You could do anything!
The computer YOU bought was YOURS. You might have had popular games installed but how many people had the 
same wallpaper, icon pack, movie library or even experinces as you.

Now, no one cares. Websites are bloated, desktop programs use React, AI is shoved in everywhere to the point
where users are actively looking for ways to get rid of it using THIRD PARTY scripts and tools.

I don't think it's all doom and gloom to be honest. Yes, things are FUCKED but there are ways to be a bit happy.
The way I did it is try ways to tinker. Install dwm, learn to use a text editor efficiantly, use TUI programs.
Everything I listed doesn't seem like anything major and that's not really the point. It's just so you can 
experiment with software and see what you like and what you don't like.
